A fantastic piece of news to start your weekend! Minister K Shanmugam Sc has just announced the launch of Singapores first Trap-Neuter-Release-and-Manage (TNRM) programme. This pilot programme will be carried out on Jurong Island and is a partnership between Jurong Town Corporation, ACRES, SOSD and ASD. Weve always believed that the Trap-Neuter-Release-and-Manage (TNRM) method is the most humane and effective way to control the stray animal population. We are extremely heartened that a governmental agency has taken the lead in adopting this programme to manage the stray dog population in Singapore. Kudos to Jurong Town Corporation. Youve made history! Thanks to you, there will be no more culling of dogs on Jurong Island.
