A fellow investigator, now retired, has just come forward a couple of weeks ago, and issued a statement about flight 800 exploding over the water in NYC. Pierre Salinger said at the time there was radar evidence of external forces causing the explosion. The NTSB said it was faulty wiring in the fuel tank, and the retired investigator was told to shut up after he proved external explosives. His information was correct, there were external forces, like a stinger missile, or some such. We had lots of crashes linked to "faulty wiring, pilot error, and who knows what all." Just how many of them were terror related? After the tightening of regulations and 9/11 crashes of aircraft have dramatically reduced. Makes me wonder just what is going on. I have no information, just some common sense thinking, and curiosity.
