A few changes this year... Maybe if we start talking about them now, everyone will remember...The floors in the LCC are a bit different so lets talk this through now...lol 1) ALL CHECK IN AND TICKETING will be on the 3rd floor of the convention center! This is the same as the Hyatt Lobby Level.. If you get on the escalator in the flood court and go all the way to the top of the escalators, you will be there! If you come in from the High Street lot, you are already on the correct floor - Do not go down the escalators or below floor L in the Hyatt elevator until you have your wristband or badge. 2) The floors are as follows starting at the bottom: Convention Center Level 1 = Main Street Level = Main Vendor hall, Food Court, Patterson Ballroom, Elkhorn Rooms, Photo Ops = Hyatt Elevator Floor B Convention Center Level 2 = Lexington Center Shops = Hyatt Elevator Floor A = We really do not use this level for the con Convention Center Level 3 = High Street Level = ALL TICKETING, Bluegrass Ballroom, Upstairs Vendor Hall, Hypothetical Gaming Area, Volunteer Check In, Thoroughbred Rooms 1,2,3, Regency Ballroom, Hyatt Registration, Blue Fire Grill, Hyatt Lobby - Hyatt Elevator Floor L - PICK UP YOUR BADGE OR WRISTBAND ON THIS FLOOR BEFORE GOING DOWNSTAIRS! Hyatt Elevator Level 2 = Hyatt Suites Meeting Room 3) YES - We will be doing Professional Photo Ops in the Elkhorn Rooms on Convention Center Level 1 4) Most all the panels will be in the following spaces: Patterson Ballroom - Hyatt Elevator Floor B - Convention Center Level 1 Thoroughbred 1,2,3 - Hyatt Elevator Level L - Convention Center Level 3 - to the left of Hyatt Registration Regency Ballroom - Hyatt Elevator Level L - Convention Center Level 3 - Right behind Hyatt Registration Thoroughbred 4,5,6 - Hyatt Elevator Level L - Convention Center Level 3 - Above food court - This is a still yet hypothetical gaming area lol 5) The upstairs vendor hall is in Bluegrass Ballroom - This is immediately to the left of the ticketing counters 6) The downstairs vendor hall is everything inside the bank of glass doors coming out of the food court on convention center level 1- The pre-function area that everyone lined up in last year will be ticketed space this year...The 501st and other fan groups will occupy that space. 7) All the glass doors on the Main street side of the building will be locked to the outside. You will have to enter the food court doors or on the High Street side (Recommended) 8) PLEASE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF EARLY CHECK IN!! If you show up at noon on Saturday expect to wait in line.. VIPs can check in as early as 2pm on Friday... Saturday morning check in will start at 7am. 9) The Friday night kick off party will be hosted at Paulies Toasted Barrell - Directly across main street from the convention center 10) We are sharing the building with DISNEY ON ICE this year. Everything will be amazingly well marked with huge banners and such this year.. Try not to get in their lines or their space - Also note - Paid parking will be in effect at the convention center all weekend. 11) Remember St Pattys day is pretty serious in Lexington - There will be a parade and a 5k run in town... Early bird gets the green worm..(and the parking) More later.... Questions?
