A few comments from Demon customers Quote:- Great game - lots of good clean fun! Nice to be able to play for an entire day where everyone is taking their hits and everyone can be be trusted to keep their markers in check. It really makes the day so much more enjoyable for all. If youve only ever been to the really big games, youre really missing out! The High Wycombe site is IMO the best woodsball site Ive played but Duncan & Vikki can put on a game anywhere, big or small - Ive never walked away from one of their games disappointed - and would certainly encourage as many as possible to come to them. A big and thanks to Demon for yesterday - Im looking forward to the next one :) Quote:- What a day!! :D Brilliant fun with some excellent sportsmanship all day – no over shooting, no hot guns, no complaining – just good aggressive paintball played totally fairly. The numbers were low for this event, that fact cant be ignored but those that did play played there hearts out. Those that didnt attend, for whatever reason, missed a cracker. This was Old Skool Ball at its best and whilst some of you only know the new and the shiney you really should be looking to get back to basics at the smaller games. Without smaller events, with smaller numbers of players, you not honing your skill set by having to learn to move and shoot as a team or unit. Spray and praying at big games is not a skill, its shooting fish in a barrel and any newb can do that. I believe the Misfits had some first timers with them and they played great. Whilst a big game can be fun as a first time out, it can also be a little daunting, so again the smaller events need your support. So the thank yous: To Duncan and Vikki aka Demon Paintball – all of their events are great and I love them to bits!! They know what players want and give it too them in spades. Never played a Demon event? Then you should. They had to adapt and overcome this weekend with the low numbers and they did just that. Congratulations guys!! To Skirmish High Wycombe – great site as stated above with great facilities. This site deserves more exposure and would lend itself really well to an event with maybe 100 – 120 players max as it has a lot of great features from the natural terrain with some great man made extras. The food was damn tasty too with great portion size. If you guys start holding walk-ons again, count me in! To the players – it takes two teams to make a great day and there were two great teams today, well played all! Great to play against Going Postal for a change and kudos to Evil Twin, Misfits and the other lone gunners like me.
