A few days ago I got to bond with a wood stove again. In a tiny tree house camp up north and it was heaven. I had one little piece of chicken from the soup I just made,I put it on a tin plate and rendered the fat down, browned it perfect and ate every bite. No matter how fancy a big girl stove is nothing compares to a wood stove for flavor. What a luxury! This totally random song kept going through my head and by the end of the night I was dancing outside with my headphones on laughing about the fact I was singing this to a stove. Is that wrong? I love these mountains in the fall.
