A few days ago I shared what I would call a base form of Mars in Scorpio through the life of Nero. Today Im sharing an exalted form of Mars in Scorpio, that being the life of the legendary German alchemist Paracelsus, or as some called him, the German Hermes. Paracelsus was a master healer who worked wonders in his time. He possessed tremendous occult knowledge and used his considerable powers toward healing and the advancement of medical science. He undoubtedly had sacred and secret facets to his mysterious life. The lives of Nero and Paracelsus existed on opposite poles of the Mars in Scorpio energetic plane. Nero was extremely negative and Paracelsus was extremely positive. This comparison illustrates how souls can actualize an exalted or base expression from a common energetic potential. So how does one actualize the higher potentials of their stars? The answer is through alchemy, that mysterious word that essentially means mental and spiritual transformation. The result of this profound inner work is a soul who continually exemplifies the higher natures of their birth stars. Now apply the results of successful alchemy to astrology. As one succeeds in their alchemy their energetic vibration will increase. The cosmos will sense and respect this increase by presenting higher quality life experiences to the sojourner. The synchronicities that they experience will become more powerful and more enriching to their life, ad infinitum. We all have the free will choice to consciously develop our higher natures over the lower. This is the heart and soul of alchemy and ascension, it neednt be complicated. In the future I will teach at length, and in astonishing detail, about the various processes of alchemy, how they relate to planetary transits, and to the stars in our horoscopes.
