A few days ago I wrote about how North Korea is one big humanitarian crisis and the sheer unlikelihood of any political change means that the possibility of future military intervention there with the support of China should be considered and planned for. This article will not be published until October 14th. Earlier today, a delegation of top officials from North Korea literally just sauntered into South Korea unannounced and agreed to renewed talks between the countries. Clearly, this was a conspiracy intended to derail my political and diplomatic ambitions by making me publish an article about the intractability of cross-DMZ relations over a week after the moment that cross-DMZ relations became as tractable as theyve been in decades. I trust my allies will rally at this time to denounce this attack upon my person. Right, guys?
