A few days ago, the enemy launched an attack against so many areas - TopicsExpress

A few days ago, the enemy launched an attack against so many areas of my life at one time. I even began feeling sick - anxious and depressed, didnt know why I was crying. Then God had a minister text me, pray for me, speak life into my situation, and remind me to meditate on Psalm 23 when Im going through. Today as I lifted up that minister in prayer, God reminded me of a revelation he had given me two years ago when I was in the wilderness. Ill repost it because I feel its worth sharing. In addition, Im also accepting any prayer requests tonight. You may message or text them. Prophetic Revelation of Psalm 23 We are to give Jesus his rightful place in our lives, not only as our Savior but as Lord over our lives. If he is Lord then he rules and reigns and we are his servants. Isaiah 54 teaches us the promises God extends to us as his servants but we cant just freely reap the promises without commitment. Some if us attempt to commit and when we are persecuted as Jesus was we are ready to back off because the fight us too intense. God wants us to rest assure that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. We have to draw from his strength. Jesus rose from the dead. He is alive and he wants to show us who he is through a personal relationship. I dont mean religious rituals on Sunday mornings but the type of relationship you would have with a best friend. He says, Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me (Revelations 3:20). The word sup means to share a meal as you would with a close friend. Furthermore, God says we do not live by bread alone; rather we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord (Deuteronomy 8:3). So Jesus wants to take it a step further and share the bread if life with you which is himself through his word giving eternal life. Many times when we are seeking him we get caught up in religious rituals causing spiritual warfare within ourselves. This leads us to go astray although our original intentions were to simply sup with the Master. However, God warns the enemy, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm (Psalm 105:15). The enemy can not prevail because if the love Jesus has for us. He says he is the Good Shepherd and his sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before then; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice (John 10:3-4). He says, I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep (John 10:9-11). When the enemy cones in like a flood we have to remind ourselves that Jesus us our good shepherd, just as David did in Psalm 23. David was a man with issues just as we are. One of his biggest problems was when Saul was seeking his life which would understandably lead to anxiety, confusion, and possibly some depression. However, he was equipped with something inside him that knew how to seek the Lord. God is using this time to speak into the lives of his children - those that are hurt, confused, and feel alone. He is revealing exactly what our promises are through Psalm 23. So through the spirit of revelation, I ask you to pray this psalm with me in belief that every promise within will be immediately manifested within our lives: (1) The Lord is my Shepherd (This is God defining our relationship with him. He us Lord over our lives. He is not just a shepherd but my shepherd. Its a personal relationship, meaning I am his and he is mine) I shall not want (This attests to Gods divine provision. Note, it doesnt say I might not but I SHALL not want. Meaning, if we seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, everything else will be given to us (Mathew 6:33). (2) He makes me to lie down in green pastures (In our times of anxiety, he provides peace and rest in his presence. He says, He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow if the Almighty (Psalm 91:1, NIV). He leads me beside the still waters (This is referring to companionship and refreshment. God is revealing that when life looks like its at a stand-still and isnt getting better, he is still there right beside us as a companion. No matter how bad it looks we will not drown in the waters because he us leading us beside the waters. He us also saying when we follow his lead, his provision is perfect leading us into a refreshing, enjoyable life. (3) He restores my soul (God is telling us of his healing and restoration power. God is ready and willing to heal us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. He is ready to restore our souls, finances, marriages, families, etc..) He leads me in the paths of righteousness (He is guiding us into obedience. We can not attain righteousness in our own capacity. We are to seek God for the gift of righteousness and then be obedient to the lead of the Holy Spirit. For His names sake (Everything that us done is to glorify and magnify God) (4) Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death (This tells us that we will go through tests and trials. However, we will not be overtaken by them because the scripture states I walk through, meaning we have to come out on the other end.) I will fear no evil (God promises us peace and protection. For God hath not given us the spirit of feat; but of power, and of love, and of sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). That means that the spirit of fear, powerlessness/hopelessness, anger, and depression/psychosis is from the enemy and should be immediately cast out. For you are with me (This attests to our faithfulness in God as well as his faithfulness to us. No matter how alone the enemy may attempt to make us feel, the Word says, And the Lord, He it is that does go before you; he will be with you, he will not fail you: fear not, neither be dismayed (Deuteronomy 31:8). Your rod and your staff they comfort me (God is speaking of divine protection, love, and discipline here. Shepherds use rods and staffs to control and protect their flocks. The rod may be tossed gently at the sheep to get their attention or warn them not to do something. It may also be thrown at a predator to scare him away from the flock. In addition, the rod may also be used to inspect the sheep closely by pulling the wool away from their skin. The staff may be used to guide the sheep in the right direction. The staff is also used to hook the sheep and carry them out of dangerous situations. And finally, the staff may be used to comfort anxious sheep by keeping constant contact with them.) (5) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies (Here God is instilling hope in us of the things to come. Many times when we go through, our enemies gossip and laugh. Those who we thought were friends turn in us. God promises to bless us in their presence for his glory. God will compel and command others (including enemies) to be a blessing to us.) You anoint my head with oil (God is speaking of consecration to a sacred use. Easton defines consecration as the devoting or setting apart of anything to worship or service God. Isnt it great to know that we are so special to God that he has set us apart from others?) My cup runs over (God is promising abundance. The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity - in the fruit if your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops if your ground - in the land he swore to your forefathers to give you (Deuteronomy 28:11, NIV). (6) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life (Here God is simply promising us blessings and compassion forever. The word surely means you can be confident of it.) And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever (God is promising us security for all eternity. You can envision the direction your life will take as centered around fellowship and communion with God.) Amen. Inspired by God & Copyrighted by Shonna Dobler/Divine War Cry Ministries, 2012
