A few final observations on Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. (I know everyone is glad to hear that!) I discovered last night that as much as I love chocolate, I wont pay three bucks for a Snickers bar. I also learned that a much as I love Westerns, its hard to sit through The Wild Bunch(one of my favorites) in Spanish. You cant watch The Andy Griffith Show everywhere (that was a shocker - but then how could they do Gomer or Ernest T. In Spanish). Just as we suspected, Coke is an international term, but sweet tea is not. Atlanta and Knoxville dont have ALL the worst drivers. Some people should not wear speedos on the beach and some people should not go topless on the beach. But some should. And for the third time, the Dominican folks we encountered, which was quite a few, were some of the most gracious, patient, beautiful people you could ever meet. It was the trip of a lifetime, but its good to be in Tennessee!
