A few friends and family know already, but last Friday our sweet - TopicsExpress

A few friends and family know already, but last Friday our sweet girl Star crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge last Friday. I held off on sharing on here because there had already been so much sadness from others who also recently lost their loving pets, and I could not even see through all of my own tears. I needed time to accept her loss myself first. She is one of the Raynham crew who would have been 12 in February and had a wonderful 9 years being buddies with Cara (our 2nd Grey) and Max who is still very confused and wondering where his buddy is. I will remind myself of all of the unique things about Star that made her so special. I dont think she ever passed up a chance to hug every single person she ever met. Certainly that is why they were here to see her she always figured. From her days as a foster with the Kaufmans, (who she always was excited to see at GO functions), she kept to her independent nature all the time. Maintaining the Stars in Charge mantra in all that SHE chose to do, because it had to be her choice. Her many ribbons from Spring Flings and Octoberfest still hang proudly on the refrigerator. Many things are so different since she has passed. For all of us here for sure as she never missed a day without wanting her hugs from each of us multiple times a day. Max will be getting even more spoiled as we figure out the days ahead. Run fast with all the other beautiful greys who have passed my sweet girl. You brought so much to so many. You will always be missed and never be forgotten.
