A few highlights from Days 3-5 of Airwaves: The Knife killed their final (ever) performance—it felt like a colorful and religious aerobics gathering set in the year 2515. One of the best live shows Ive ever seen. Caribou played with so much energy and passion. Thanks to Thierry for the recommendation, I discovered dream-funk-pop artist Jaakko Eino Kalevi (who, random fact, also works as a tram driver in Finland). Best new Icelandic act at Airwaves is a split vote between Young Karin and Lily the Kid. The Flaming Lips had an over-the-top finale (in a good way) and Zebra Katz got everyone in Húrra as ratchet as Ill probably ever see an Iceland crowd get.
