A few hours ago (around 9) got back from the vigil in Phoenix for the Green Acres Dog Boarding Facility tragedy that took place in Gilbert. About 20 dogs lost their lives and were found in the shed. This case needs to be investigated and charges/action needs to be taken against the owners of the Boarding Facility. I do not agree with Sheriff Joe Arpaio on a lot of things but I do have a section of respect for him for looking into these cases that involved animals and getting justice for them and for being at the vigil. It was beautiful and heartwarming to see how many people came out and paid their respects to the families that lost their furry family members to this, to the family who is still looking for Valor, and to celebrate all of their lives. Those who I talked to at the vigil were all nice and seeing all that does give me hope and restores a bit of my faith in humanity. RIP to those beautiful furry loved ones taken to soon and my thoughts and prayers to the families and I hope Valor (who has escaped from this incident) finds his way back home to his loving family.
