A few local stories have crossed my path today that have reminded me how very important it is to be aware of where are children are and who they may be with. The first is of a little guy with Autism who wandered from home but was thankfully watched over by his new canine friend and safely returned home. The second is of a scout troop in Pasco that tied up three boys with rope & duct tape and then took them to separate stores with other kids from their group to parade in front of people. The lesson was supposedly to help them realize how free they were but, ironically, ended with an unexpected visit from the police. These boys are now in need of a lesson on what to do if someone tries to tie up your friend. Please be watchful friends.
