A few minutes ago, while at an intersection I saw a car run red light right in front of me. The car was within inches of a mother and 2 young kids. She had to grab them and yank them back as they were slightly in front of her. It took me a few moments to realise what had happened and how close I came to witnessing the deaths of 2 or 3 people, as with the speed the car was going, it would have been fatal. I was shocked, too slow to react, and wish Id been able to follow the car and at least get the plate. Or - help the driver fall out of their car and hurt themselves very badly on my knee or their own door.
