A few months ago, I was presented a beautiful handmade blanket from the Veteran Affairs of West Los Angeles for those of us who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan. Today, I passed a homeless man in front of a store. He wasnt asking for money or food. He was desperately asking for a blanket. He was crying and shivering. I immediately went to my car, reached in the backseat, grabbed that blanket and laid it on top of him. Im happy I was able to help him somewhat, but my heart hurts to see anyone suffer like that. We have to do something to end this shit somehow!!!
