A few months ago my back drop stand was damaged and was out of commission. Today I had some down time to take a good look at the damage and see that it was not repairable. One of the pole clamps was snapped behond repair so my plan was to trash it. Long story short, my little mini me Chloe came downstairs to see what daddy was fussing about and began to help me put the parts back together and try other options but no luck. As I continued to get the stand ready for the trash, Chloe walked up to me with a rubber band. End result. ......working backdrop stand. Tested with a 20 pound weight. ....
