A few months ago we set out to buy a house. Yesterday we signed an agreement for a home. We started out looking for the place by the water, enough room for the kids to come back, and walking distance to fun things to do. We wanted it to be a good investment so we could retire well. We now realize we want a home; a place where we can gather to experience life with those that matter. So, we are in Exeter in a house that screams 80s -- shoulder pads, Madonna, and Lauper. Lots of work ahead over the next couple of months, but it will be terrific to never go to an Open House ever again! Fingers crossed inspection goes well with no surprises next week!
