Was very Impressed! 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2015 As you enter the Swan Valley, driving north up West Swan Road one of the first wineries you come across on your right is the Sandalford Estate. A mile before their turn-off I observed their deep green vines loaded with grapes. Next month they will start their picking. The entrance into their property is very attractive. A well built road, lined on both sides with welcoming vines. The building is quite attractive, and for the visitors there are large shady trees under which to ones car. As one walks to the tasting area one passes a couple of very fine looking restaurants, on ones right, and on the left are table and chairs shaded by overhead vines, and since it was a hot day, spray of cool water spurted from on high to cool the air. A very attractive area in which to luncheon! On entering the tasting room I was very impressed with their display of wine associated items, and displays of beautiful colored glass wares, bowls and dishes. Quite spectacular. Oh, heaps of their bottled wine too - of course. A very pleasant young Chinese lady served me as I tried and then bought a bottle of their Late Harvest White. Quite sweet, but talk about a mouth full of flavor!!
