A few of fun facts for this Monday morning... 1) My zipper was down the first time I met my wife. I thought I had veiled that fact with a strategically placed clipboard. She simply pretended not to notice. 2) I have never been able to run faster than my wife. Ever. If she ever decides to chase me down and beat me...Im done for. 3) When we first met, I absolutely HATED doing laundry (as she could tell when she accompanied me to the laundromat, where I proceeded to wash every article of clothing I owned, all crammed into plastic lawn bags), and completely LOVED playing video games. Some things just dont change. 4) For the first few years of marriage, my wife and my mother...lets just say they didnt get along very well. At all. I mean it. Good grief, it was frustrating at times. For the last few years of marriage, my wife and my mother have been close friends. They do things together, talk on the phone all the time, and even enjoy complaining to each other about me...yep, still frustrating at times (I kid! It actually rocks...except for the complaining about me part, but Im naturally awesome so that doesnt happen very often). Regina, I am truly grateful for being able to grow and change with you throughout our years together. You are an amazing woman, mother, and wife. I dont know why you put up with me sometimes, but Im very thankful that you do. Our life hasnt ever been easy, but its been an exciting adventure, and I wouldnt have it any other way. Happy anniversary, honey...I love you, completely.
