A few of the many questions to be answered at the Candidates Meeting on Sept 26th at the Rec Plex - Please Share :) To what do you attribute the decline in tourism in this town, especially given the fact that there are pockets of Ontario where tourism is still thriving? What are your short and long term plans to turn the decline around? What do you think could be done to make Wasaga Beach more attractive for small business? Our main beach area and the buildings have significantly deteriorated in the 7 years since the fire. What can be done to encourage the current owners of the land at the main beach to proceed with development and redevelopment of the properties they own? Transparency at the Town is essential to establishing and maintaining constituent trust. Where do you feel transparency needs to be improved and what would you recommend to ensure transparency and accountability at the Council level. Will be great to hear their thoughts!
