A few of the numbers that were tossed around this morning: Platelets: 600+ Yeah, I have more platelets now than a normal person. I pointed at my doctors face, told him I beat him, and boo-yahed. He conceded. Creatinine: 1.3 I dont even remember what this number is supposed to be, but I know its been going down (which is good), after one of the antibiotics made it go up. We want it down because I like having kidneys that work. ANC: 0.4 So this is the important one. We want it to get to 1.0. I was happy that we were half way there, but was told that it isnt necessarily a linear progression. Nevertheless, the doctor did say he gave a fist pump when he saw it this morning. They had nothing negative for me this morning - possibly because they were waking me up and already felt bad about that? So, today will be more waiting and going slowly mad. Sidenote: if youre local and in good health, please come visit. Visitors make me feel better. I dont have to wallow, but can converse about stuff. Visitors make my days better.
