A few people have asked about the route we took on our 48 state - TopicsExpress

A few people have asked about the route we took on our 48 state road trip, so I wanted to share the exact route we took(apologize for poor quality of photo). We obviously missed a ton of things on our trip (this is only round 1), hopefully of much more RVing. However, the seasonality on this trip was really great. We left Austin late May, spent three months in the western part of the US and then by early fall ended up in Vermont/Maine area which was absolutely beautiful. Weather wise, it seemed like the majority of the weather we encountered was 40-70, and a month or so of pretty hot weather in the midwest along with a lot of thunderstorms. We barely escaped the winter storms in the north before making it back south by December. If I could do it all over again, I would spend a lot more time touring the national parks in Utah and a little more time in Montana. Also, Ive realized that a big RV and driving in the cities doesnt mix if you want to keep your sanity. Small towns are the way to go, at least in our wheel home that is.
