A few people have taken offence at my posts on Black Friday yesterday. No offence was intended. I was trying to make two completely different points. 1. We do not celebrate Thanksgiving in the UK, it being a specific US celebration. The day after Thanksgiving has therefore no relevance whatsoever to us. 2. The scenes in stores were disgraceful, with people fighting over marked down consumer goods. This was in Britain, and presumably the protagonists were mostly British. I don`t imagine they were told to behave like that by foreign nationals. Hope that`s cleared it up. Seemed simple to me.
