A few pictures from our adventure today! Went in for the assessment and had no idea he would actually get to drive! First he did an eye test and strength test, then we drove out to a park and she checked out our van and made sure he fit behind the wheel 😀. Next she had him try out all the controls, buttons and nobs to see what he could operate and what needed modified. Then he got into the training car and drove around the parking lot a bit, then some side streets and did figure 8s and finally on the main road!! He drove for about 45 minutes!! It was a lot easier then he expected and he is pumped to keep training! The therapist will send a list of the modifications needed to the insurance and we will get those done and then finish the training in our own can!! Super excited for this process and step! Gonna be a big change for us 😃
