A few points. * The insurance is paying the full cost of treatment and 24/7 hospital care.. * The couple are staying at the Ronald McDonald Charity housing for FREE with cooking & laundry equipment provided (not quite up to the Hilton hotel standard, granted). * The travel insurance would pay for emergency supplies (emergency accomodation, food & clothes). Again, probably not up to the standard of the Hilton, but hey. * Surely they have credit cards or their family could wire money to them. * Lee Johnston has a collection of 3 motorbikes and 6 flash cars parked outside his house. They are not short of money, so what is this fundraising actually for? If the couple were planning to go shopping in Maceys and Bloomingdales on 5th Avenue, then surely they would have money. So how are they claiming to not afford to get clean underwear? Why blow money on a New Year holiday in New York at the Hilton hotel & shopping on 5th Ave, if you dont have money to pay your rent? Do they not have any savings set aside for the babys necessities (nappies, buggy, etc) that theyd need anyway?
