A few showers or thunderstorms will be possible this evening and overnight but most areas will stay dry. There will also be a chance for isolated thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon and evening. The chance for showers and thunderstorms will increase across the area Wednesday night through Saturday night as a frontal boundary becomes stalled out across the area and several disturbances move across the region. The risk for widespread severe weather appears to be low but a few strong storms capable of strong and gusty winds and hail will be possible. There will also be a risk for heavy rainfall and possibly flooding if excessive rainfall develops or thunderstorms train over the same areas.
