A few things about the game last night. 1. Kyle Walker is a complete liability. He has got absolutely zero footballing intelligence, his only big attribute is pace, and when he comes up against someone quicker like Damjanovic for Montenegro, hes in big big trouble. 2. Glen Johnson therefore HAS to be fit for the World Cup. 3. Chris Smalling will go to the World Cup and should be starting at CB. Hes also better cover for RB than Walker. 4. Joe Hart is Englands no1 by a long, long way. 5. Gerrard is still a top player and will be missed when he retires from International Football. 6. After Friday, Frank Lampard should not go to the World Cup. 7. Jordan Henderson was booed last night purely because hes not Steven Gerrard, but actually played relatively well when he came on. 8. Andros Townsend is ELECTRIC. 9. Ross Barkley should bloody shoot now and again. 10. Germany were missing Schweinsteiger, Lahm, Klose, Ozil, Neuer, Khedira, Podolski, Muller, and Gomez, yet still won. Ominous.
