A few thoughts.....those of you doing the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge I say good for you and please remember... in addition to dumping cold water on your head...to send a donation to help those affected by this terrible affliction. Your shower raises awareness, your dollars provide hope. To my pro-life friends who refuse to donate any money towards ALS because of the use of embryonic stem cell research conducted in search of a cure, I urge you to please educate yourself and find research opportunities being conducted to fight ALS without using embryos. In the end, it is up to each individual to determine if they would like to be a part of the solution or stay on the sidelines. If you dont feel comfortable with ALS research, I respect your opinions and hope you will find SOMETHING that is acceptable to you and worthy of your time/money. Lots of suffering in the world and YOU....yes YOU....have the opportunity today to ease that pain for someone. Make a difference and show some love/mercy! Much love to everyone!
