A few weeks ago I gave kudos to Congressman Patrick Murphy for running a positive campaign. No change there, hes still running a positive campaign. However, hes running a really aggressive campaign. Hes barely contested but hes everywhere. T.V. ads, ads on Pandora, and daily mailers in full color. Hes everywhere I turn and I dont see bubkas from his competition. So you have to ask, where is he getting the money for all this promotion? Turns out, he gets it from you and me. Thats right, all of our congressmen get a budget for mailers, etc., and out of all of the congressmen and senators in DC, Mr. Murphy is #3 in expenditures in this category. Every one of his promotional ads touts his track record of saving the tax payer money, yet hes pissing away our money on the flyer telling us this! Irony? No. Just another example of political hypocrisy. There are a handful of decent politicians but thats like saying there are a few good cells in the middle of a cancerous tumor. Vote em all out. Ill happily take my chances with a crew of beginners versus the professional crooks were currently burdened with.
