A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of friending the mommy of one of the smallest preemie babies delivered. He became a part of my daily prayers and I shared his growth and milestones every night with my husband as we remembered our twins NICU milestones with him. Yesterday, Decklen lost his fight and my heart has been so hurt. I cannot imagine the pain his parents and siblings are going through. This is the second loss theyve experienced. Once again I want to remind us all, when grumbling over our daily annoyances, how much worse it could be. Somewhere out there parents are watching their babies fight for their lives and even worse, planning their babies funerals. Please dont sweat the small stuff. Make the most of each precious moment you have with your loved ones and remember tomorrow is never promised. Carrie Maize my heart is broken for you and James. I wish I were close enough to give you a hug, but the next best thing I can do is share your angels heroic story of strength and help his story inspire us all to love more and stress less...
