A few weeks ago I opened my home to The Simple Truth Foundation, Marie Voss and a few ladies I met at a local group for a couponing class. I believe in saving money, becoming debt free, giving back and investing and I was glad to see that this particular foundation not only offer free couponing classes for anyone that wants to save money but encourage you to donate the extra items you collect to local pantries and people in need! This is exactly what I had in mind when I started thinking about couponing! What if instead of hoarding all this stuff you most likely will never use, you just donate it to a family in need or a pantry. It wouldnt have cost you anything extra to do so, it would bring joy to their life as well as yours AND you would be saving! That extra money that could go towards getting out of debt and other places that need the extra monetary help! Im not saying put all your focus, time and effort into it... Specially if you are busy working, raising a family or building a legacy. But its something to consider because after all.... We all have to do groceries! Just remember not every is BLESSED enough to afford it. It was a nice experience! I got to meet so many amazing people in the process and we are going to be changing lives togethers! As couponing sisters and soon enough as It Works sisters! I cant wait to welcome all of you to the team!
