A few weeks ago I posted of my concern for many of my students and eating habits (mostly lack of eating) and consumption of energy drinks. It weighed on my mind...I gave them my Mom/Mamaw sermons and got the usual eye-roll response. But after a talk with my high school honor society cohort Kim Zornes we arranged for a few of our high school students to speak to our 8th graders. Today the Rock Hill Honor Society officers and member Brooklynn Kingery shared their stories and experiences....and Im thinking my guys listened and took their words to heart. I had one student come to afterward and talk about the changes they hoped to make...my fingers are crossed. Thank you to Kim and our students.
