A few weeks ago I started clearing the area behind our house in hopes of getting it cleaned up enough to maybe build a gazebo, a firepit and to be able to see the lake. As everyone knows the ice storm destroyed so much its been impossible for me to do anything until the trees that fell rotted for a while, before the ice storm I could mow this with a riding lawn mower! The 1st pic is a lot of what it looked like before I started. I bush hogged through growth so dense I couldnt see anything(ripped a hose off the tractor) to this. Sprayed the poison oak and letting it die out. I have 4 dead trees that have to be cut, one of them a huge white oak, so waiting til the fall and the leaves are off the other trees so I can see whats going on. I should have all the fire wood anyone wants so keep that in mind this fall. Still got lots of work but Ill get it there.
