A few weeks ago Melanie Bishop called into KAZU to speak about Listener Supported Radio and Everett Family Farm. We are so excited and honored that her experience in the farmstand moved her to speak on our behalf! To Melanie and all of our other farm stand patrons, thank you so much for your honesty and integrity. Your respect and appreciation for the work that we do inspires and motivates us! We are so grateful for this incredibly supportive community. Almost every time Ive visited this farmstand, Ive been the only person there. Theres something holy about it -- the stillness, the intention, the bounty, the trust. Some kind of garden god watches over the place and as I carefully select what goodness Ill take with me, I do so with something akin to reverence. And I always leave feeling better than when I arrived, feeling maybe even a little bit giddy. About home-grown food.
