A few weeks ago one of my neighbors dropped off a few pounds of venison as he prepares for the new hunting season. I have long often talked about how coveted his venison should be. He hangs it, lets it air cure and tenderize for a minimum of 3 days. The steaklets practically fall apart from the weight of a fork and the taste is so mildly sweet when cooked, the burger is preferred to anything from the super market ...... This is the second time over the last few years that he has done this for us. Today we just had a roast from the crock pot, INDESCRIBABLY great!! Im so glad my family likes venison and so glad my neighbors love me. Cant wait for Jenn to get home and have some too
