A few weeks ago, someone posted about a young guy going door to door selling something. Well he made his way to my neighborhood today. He rang the bell 3 times. In between ringing the bell, he would continue to knock shouting hello, hello, hello. Before he rang the bell the first time, he tried the storm door which is always locked. After a few minutes of this, I went out the side door and met him on the porch. I explained to him I didnt care what he was selling, that his approach was unsettling. I told him in our country you DO NOT touch a door knob. The homeowner will do that if they want to make contact with him. I told him he should ring the bell and or knock once and leave. Consider maybe someone is home alone and wont open the door to strangers. Consider the possibility maybe someone works nights and sleeps during the day. Consider the possibility there is an elderly person at home and he may frighten them. I told him people all over the county are talking about him and he may want to change his approach. He was still smiling this arrogant little smirk as I was going straight redhead on him. When I paused, he smiles and asks what he can do to show me what he is selling. I told him to leave and not come back. And under no circumstances should he go to the house across the street as she is elderly. I told him I would call the police on him if I even see him or his bike near her house. So what if my teenagers had been here alone? Sorry this is so long. I am still extremely annoyed and on a roll. It takes a lot for me to go into redheaded Madea mode. But he asked for it. Makes me wish I had a big, scary, hungry dog to turn loose on him.
