A few weeks ago the VFW 1995 Dodge Caravan broke down while serving the Veterans of our community. We were fortunate enough to have the van towed to our facility. After requesting a little time to complete the repairs the Desert Automotive crew decided this would be a excellent opportunity to give back a little to the Veterans that have given so much to our great Country. The Desert Crew gave the van a complete inspection and addressed and repaired everything required to put the van back into flawless operating condition. We then called a few of our valued vendors and they were all quite happy and willing to help out. Merles Automotive supplied the parts needed for the project, Freedom Automotive provided a complete interior detail, the Paledenic Family and The Body Shop provided a complete repaint, Mrs. McLain and Mia Bellas provided air fresheners and incense for the interior and Tony D and Discount Tire provided a new set of tires. On Christmas Eve we were able to return the vehicle to Mr. Larson the Commander of the VFW post #9972, in a drastically improved condition at no expense to the VFW. We are confident the vehicle will now provide many miles of service for the VFW and the Veterans they serve. Thanks, for the opportunity to help out!!!!!!!
