A few weeks back, I visited with a developmentally disabled man who knew that in the lowest times and the best times of his life, God was with him....so I confirmed him in my faith. I have just heard of a lovely lady whose heart was broken when her marriage ended yet who refused to give up....and today she has re-married a loving man who will care for her and her children. I visited with a friend whose disease has changed his appearance, altered how he lives and will soon rob him of his life and put an end to a cherished friendship. And today it hit me ... and I cried ...without shame ... because all of us have different needs, and hurts and joys.
