A few years ago Hubby and I cut a stone dead maple tree down for someone. It was over 100 years old. And nobody could figure out why it had suddenly died. After talking to the home owner, we discovered that they had been using Roundup to kill weeds in the brick sidewalk that circled the tree........Well since chemicals work their way down, we deduced that the Roundup had indeed leached into the trees root system, thus killing the tree. Roundup is toxic to anything it touches.....including people.
