A few years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Robin Williams and bringing him up on stage when he stopped into Standup New York on a week night. I was working on a bit about my mom and we sat off stage and riffed back and forth as two old Long Island ladies for a few minutes. It was unbelievable to have that moment with him. Im so sad to hear about his passing and his struggles with depression, something a lot of performers suffer from including myself from time to time. RIP Robin Williams you are one of the great ones.
