A few years ago I met the country band #Sugarland while playing an Army Base in Germany. We all got on well and when they extended an invite to play some shows with them in the US, the invitation was accepted gladly. I met piano player #BrandonBush and we had a good laugh about something or other, but that was it, so you can imagine my surprise when I looked out into the arena we were playing, and noticed he was running the lights for my opening set. Classy and cool like the man himself. Cut to 2014. Brandon called me on what was quite possibly the hottest day of the Summer and asked if I had any interest in writing and singing a Christmas song for an album he was organizing of old school R&B influenced Christmas tunes. The other catch was that he needed the song that week and as Murphys Law would have it, I was boarding a plane to Mexico in less than 24 hours. Still, my ever present angel of a wife said You can always write Christmas in Cancun and then left to take care of our 1075 children. My also benevolent manager, Jessica K. Martin, cleared my schedule for the day and came over to help me write the song Christmas in Cancun. I sent the song to Brandon and dropped out of life for a week. When I landed I had a finished musical track to sing over in my inbox and a text that said LOVE IT! With the help of #RyanHommel and #MarcSeedorf I added my vocals to this groovy version of the song. Today Im pleased to announce its available on Itunes, Spotify and (the only place I actually know how to post a link for) Amazon: amazon/Songs-Architect-Presents-Very-Christmas/dp/B00PHPDM58/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416334234&sr=8-1&keywords=sota+christmas&pebp=1416334236520
