A few years ago I was gifted with my great-grandparents (John and America Burns Roberts) family Bible. When examining it, I found the birth and death notations on a brother of my grandmother, Frank. I had never heard of him. After checking the census, I was shocked to find that in 1900 he was a patient at the Eastern Kentucky Insane Asylum in Lexington. I have attached the court records regarding his commitment. Perhaps some of the group will recognize the name of an ancestor who served on the jury. Frank died of TB at the asylum in 1907. Very, very sad.
