A few years ago, I wrote a fun little piece about the secret origins of the Scooby Doo universe. Its probably one of the most popular things Ive posted. The weird thing is that a lot of people seem to think I take this theory seriously. Its a lark, a bit of fun. I am not proposing this be Scooby Doo canon. Its just something my writer brain threw together after watching way too much Scooby Doo. Still, I get comments on it now and then about how I could be so silly as to believe this. The comments are more interesting than anything else. Even after stating multiple times that I understand Scooby Doo is just a cartoon and one that really isnt trying to make sense, people still come along and offer that rebuttal. So, here it is. My controversial (not really) theory about Scooby Doo. Please dont mistake it for any actual belief on how the Scoobyverse operates.
