A few years ago my older brother was diagnosed with dementia One of his patterns was him thinking that he was rich and going on buying sprees. After he was released from a short stay at Behavioral health resources he bought two cars from Uhlmann I 5 ford. They were new/used and he paid cash. Being that so many people in the area knew our family well we began to get reports of my brother buying large amounts of new items. We also received notice that he planned on buying more vehicles from Uhlmann I 5 ford. I found the salesman ( Rodney Sekerak ) who had sold him the previous cars and who was also working with him to buy more. I called Rodney and let him know that my brother was suffering from dementia, had cashed in his retirement, refied his home for more cash. i pleaded with Rodney Sekerak to please not sell him anymore cars. He told me that he was glad that I had called and assured me that he would not sell him anymore. Well, a few days later Rodney Sekerak financed 4 brand new cars in one day for my brother. A few weeks later he suffered a stoke that left him completely incapacitated. After taking care of my brothers immediate affairs I did go to I 5 Ford to confront Rodney. I was a gentleman. He would not speak to me and said I better let you talk to my sales manager After confronting the manager, Ive never received such a stupid look from another human in my life. I was eventually told that they didnt do anything illegal and people walk in a buy 4 cars all the time. I posted this because this was posted here a few years ago and there seemed to be many supportive people in Lewis county that wanted to know who the dealership was. I tried to find the post in the archives, but was unable. My family was devastated by my brothers health issue. What I 5 ford did made it even harder to deal with. It was a nightmare dealing with the 4 separate banks.
