A few yrs ago my uncle Harold passed away and while he was in a nursing home I would sit by him and just watch him sleep and hold his hand every chance I got till the minute he passed away & still think of him to this day :) 4 yrs I was very close with my Moms sister :) would go out and help her with anything from yard work to clearing drains for her and when she developed dementia I would still come to her and sit by her side and hold her hand :) I would walk in and she would remember me right away and smile and I would smile and we would just watch TV :) Then one day I received a call from her daughters husband not to bother anymore that I was no longer welcome anymore ! These were not the words used im being nice because I love my aunt and its not her fault her family is screwed up :) And she passed away not long after and I was not included in the funeral as her nephew which I have not gotten over to this day :) I know she loves me and thats something they couldnt take away ! Now about 6yrs ago my brother went 2 the hospital and I was there for him and expressed how much he meant to me and as soon as he could he barrowed some $$$ then ignored me when I called when it came time to pay up ! The only person who didnt treat me like I was 2nd class was my uncle Harold God rest his soul :) And every time I get close to someone and show or express to them how I feel they use it 2 their advantage or I am dismissed when I am no longer of use ! And I will admit that I use a lot of caution when dealing with family to the point where I rarely come around , and believe I even do this with friends as well ! Wish this wasnt so but this is the world we live in , do I wish I could change this YES will it change I dont believe it will ! All I can do is teach or try to teach my sons to be there for one another and give without any expectation , and love each other :) Just another thought I had bouncing around my mind->That is all
