A final word.... For 25 years Ive represented the people of Fayette, McNairy and Hardeman counties. Ive done my best to protect our constitutional rights. I understand that the laws they pass in Nashville have a real impact on the lives of people that politicians often ignore except during an election. My family didnt found any of these counties. I made the personal choice to live here many years ago. Im not anointed by the incumbent to take his place. Im not a radical and I understand that our nation is better today because we have learned from the mistakes of history. We still are the grandest nation of all time...but... we can be better. I know that we need a strong agenda to help get Tennessee to the top economically and educationally. I see the assault on our personal liberties from Nashville and Washington and I know we must take the right stand to protect our freedoms. It has been my pleasure to meet so many good people over the last few months. My family has been blessed by your kindness. My message remains the same. I wont change my tune based on lobbyists support. My hope for our communities, our state and our nation remain strong. I know in my heart that together we can build a better Tennessee for ALL of us. I ask for your prayers, your support and your votes. I will do my best to live up to your expectations. Thank you and May God bless you all. Steven
