A first-class ticket to freedom for Dewani FREEDOM looks good on Shrien Dewani. The British millionaire left South Africa yesterday bearing little resemblance to the anxious, withdrawn and camera-shy man who arrived in Cape Town facing murder charges eight months ago. Dewani returned home a free man after Deputy Judge President Jeanette Traverso threw his case out of court on Monday, acquitting him of the murder of his wife Anni in 2010. Dewani arrived at Cape Town International Airport at noon with the calm confidence of a man on the last stretch of a difficult journey. A stretch of parking bays in the departures drop-and-go area had been cordoned off for him, and an airport services manager waited to hand him his first-class tickets.
