A follow up doctors appointment turned into an all day affair..I had marked my calender on my desk, and my celly calender. . Arrived at the time I was given and was told he didnt have an appointment for today. Now, I could see me messing up my celly calender, as the months dont flip forward easily, but to get it wrong on my desk calendar? Hmmm, I told them jokingly that I may have written it down wrong, but why would i put it in my celly too? After 10 minutes of finger pointing, they found a way to squeeze him in. .I didnt mind the wait so much until he missed his 4:00 snack...I knew trouble was coming. . By the time the doctor came in, Tom was beside himself, and wanted no part of answering any questions. .how do you feel Tommy? ok..Any problems? ..I said, OK!..his usual mild composure, had slipped into a state of, mother of all I can eat, Im starving! his doctor had no clue we had been there hours. .. while fumbling thru my purse, looking for a pen, I stumbled across his appointment card. .HA! In their handwriting, plain as day, 2:00 today! Redemption..I showed the doctor his appointment card, she was a bit surprised, I told her I wanted it back. . So I could share my magical find with her office manager. . Who, I might add, had all but convinced me, it was either an ambien mishap, or Im just a wllie nilley walk in when I feel like it patient..we finally escaped the mayhem a little after 5:00.. of course, the office manager and I had a brief discussion... all is well in Tom-land.. he got his snack and supper back to back. .declared his day was, man oh man!.... Im elated I found the appointment card, and his day is over. . Ive other things to worry about...laundry, shopping list. .etc... the usual...
