A follower asks: I feel bad for having discovered this page just now when Im a couple weeks away from my due date! My quick story: I wanted a vba2c so badly and everything seemed to be falling into place (anterior high-lying placenta, cervix is a little bit open already, babys head is engaged, and the baby is already in optimal position for a normal birth) until the ultrasound also revealed an impression of a thinned out lower segment cesaresn scar with measurements 3.1mm at the midline area, 2.2 mm at the left lateral area, and 2.1 mm at the right. My OB discouraged me to push thru cuz she said the cut off to avoid uterine rupture is 3.5mm. So I had to give a go signal for a scheduled cs. I was just having a last minute dilemma and wondering if some other vba2c moms have been through this. Please help! Thanks! #Support
