A forgotten investment Wow, I dug up this share registration cert that says I have 100 shares of RM1 each in this Star and Tong Bao workers’ co-op dating back to 1986. So face value is RM100. What is it worth today, RM300? And what shall I do with it? Frame it up? Cash it in? Keep some more? Lucky for me, the co-op is still in existence, I think. I googled and found it had changed its name to drop the Tong Bao and launched its 25th anniversary logo in January 2010. Any ex-Stars out there who’s still a member of the co-op? Is my cert still laku?
